Dan Barr

Dan Barr has held a wide variety of leadership positions since first elected to office in 1955. He served on the Boards of three corporations during the early 1960s and has worked with individuals, groups and organizations interested in constructive change ever since. 

He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Washington in 1963, and celebrated his Harvard Business School 50th Reunion in June 2017. 

In the intervening years, he founded a leading retail marine dealership; a personal growth center; the West Coast Office for Tor Dahl Associates with clients including Boeing, Weyerhaeuser, Starbucks and others; and has been involved in a wide range of other projects and interests.

He is considered an elder in organizational development circles, and his wise counsel is sought by many for helping craft humanistic, powerful, out-of-the-box solutions, in various settings of human endeavors.

Most summers he can be found out on the Ocean of Life -- usually on the Bering Sea or cruising the islands of the Salish Sea.

Elin first worked with TDA as part of The Performance Group in Oslo, Norway, a TDA licensee. Elin's strengths and accomplishments include planning, scheduling and managing projects both in Norway and in other countries.
